At Money Makin Mission we are all about giving back to others and supporting our community. Over this past Memorial Day weekend we had a chance to attend the first of many charity events hosted by IAMSANJOSE, a new organization that is working with the city of San Jose to better the community. It was a beautiful Sunday, perfect for a stroll through one of San Jose’s older and beautiful downtown parks. St James Park is located deep in the heart of downtown San Jose, CA between 2nd Street and St. James Street. Many of San Jose’s thriving food trucks attended the event to help raise money for the Salvation Army (homeless services). Great food and good music are always the perfect ingredients to bring everyone together.

As a new charity organization, IAMSANJOSE, will be working with the City of San Jose to schedule a series of events year round to rejuvenate different areas of the cities. We plan to throw several fun and exciting social events with food, music and other forms of entertainment, while raising funds for the local charities like the Salvation Army. We have received a strong commitment from the city and an overwhelming show of support for this movement.
